The Best of 2019 - Body, Bath & Hair

Image
I recently chose my favourite skincare products from 2019 which was no mean feat as I've tried a lot of really fantastic products throughout the year. Now it's time to choose my favourite body and hair care products - and as with the skincare products, the majority of them have been made by some fantastic Indie Natural Beauty brands. Shower & Bath  Most of my bath and shower products actually come from Beauty Subscription boxes. I personally find this a great way to try out products that I previously may not have heard of or wouldn't think about trying. Below are my favourites that I've tried throughout the year and ones that I'll be repurchasing again. Bumi Naturals - Body Polish with Hemp, Poppy & Lavender* With a sumptuous base of cold-pressed hemp and avocado oil, this body polish is scented with lavender and uses poppy seeds for natural exfoliation. It's an incredibly rich and nourishing balm type texture which leaves your body c...

June 2019 Monthly Favourites

Image
Despite June being pretty much a no-buy month for me, I still managed to pick up some firm new favourites  thanks to some beauty box contents, competition wins and one cheeky little impulse purchase! Jorgobe - Hydrating Glow Serum Buy here From May's Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box , this hydrating serum was my favourite from the box and possibly one of my favourite serums of all time! I'm loving everything about this antioxidant serum from its stunning rose gold colour to the surprising but delicious Rosemary and Mint scent. My skin doesn't take to oil-based serums so well in the warmer months as they tend to make my combination skin veer more towards the oily side. Despite this, this is a fast-absorbing dry oil and if I don't feel like I can wear it on it's own in the summer, then I'll just add a drop or two to my day moisturiser to ensure I'm still getting my daily fix of this miracle serum. The Butterbar Skincare - Glow-r...

The Sign Tribe - Remove and Chill Nail Polish Eraser Cream

Image
Remove and Chill Nail Polish Eraser Cream UK availability online at Beauty Mart  RRP £14.25   Ooh! I'm incredibly excited about this Nail Polish Eraser Cream that I just received as one of my monthly Latest in Beauty box picks (still currently available online).   This is an acetone-free nail polish remover in cream form. NB - Will not remove Gel or Shellac   The formulation is infused with an oil complex enriched with macadamia, almond, argan and vitamin E so is much more gentle on the nails and also smells gorgeous.   How to use: 1.Apply a thick layer of the cream on your nail plate. Don't rub it in.   2. Leave the cream on your nails for 1 minute for every nail polish layer - 3 minutes if you have used a base coat and top coat.   3. Massage the cream into your nails and then remove the cream with a dry cotton pad.   4. Wash hands after use.   This was fairly easy to apply ...

Strong Hair Heroes

Image
I've got long, dyed, thick hair and LOTS of it! I always thought it was pretty healthy - except the ends could get very dry at times. I've always had a degree of hair loss after brushing my hair (mostly after shampooing) and didn't think too much about it. But then a few months ago, I started to look at these 'nests' of hair that I'd remove from the brush or comb and wonder if maybe this wasn't so normal after all.   {SOURCE} NB: NOT my actual hair!! This is actually horse hair, but you see what I mean by the nest comparison?   I've been calling the measurement of hair loss a 'nest' - because after brushing my hair and pulling out the hair from the brush or comb, I'd wrap it around my fingers to get it into a neat ball to throw away and started to notice that they look like mini birds nests! So, 'nest' is the unit of measurement I'm sticking with for this review.   {SOURCE} When first noticing that I l...

BuzzBalm All Purpose Skin Cream £13.95 for 30g BUY HERE   This is a mini review for a mini product that I received in the latest Triyit Campaign.
