What's on the shelves at T.K Maxx - July 2019

You may be able to tell that I've got a thing about shopping in T.K Maxx! I just love the anticipation of not knowing what you're going to find at any given time.  Most purchases I make from T.K Maxx are pure impulse buys - I very rarely find anything I actually need, so it's perhaps not good for my stash to keep adding these impulse purchases to. But I can't stop!! I recently wrote a post about buying 'unknown' brands from T.K Maxx and how they often turn out to be real treasure - at much reduced prices. You can read that post here. Here's what was on the shelves in my nearest T.K Maxx today (Castle Mall branch in Norwich). I spotted the Timeless products straight away. The HA & Vitamin C serum was just £7.99. However, I resisted as Aloe Vera is quite high in the ingredients. I previously bought the Timeless HA Mist and found that it didn't really agree with my skin because of the Aloe, which is such a shame as this was a great f...

Taking A Chance With Unknown Brands From T.K Maxx

I recently watched a Nadine Baggott video from her 'Come Shopping with Me' series where she shopped at T.K Maxx. In it, she urges her viewers to "Look for brands you know" and I immediately thought Noooooo!!! I have to disagree - it's the brands that you don't know where you find the best bargains in T.K Maxx. Sure, it can be a bit of a gamble buying something from a brand that you've never even heard of before. But I've found some real gems taking a chance on the unknowns in the past. True, I've also picked up a few Donkeys along the way, but on the whole it can be really rewarding when you strike gold with a brilliant product.   T.K Maxx seems to have really upped their game in the past few months. There have been some amazing natural products and brands from different countries which are definitely worth a second look.   Here are some of my best T.K Maxx finds: ValJean Labs - Restore - Niacinamide & Zinc Facial Serum Valjean ...

T.K Maxx Haul - February 2019

Oh T.K Maxx - you've been KILLING IT recently with your offerings!   Not sure if Friday is a new delivery day, but the shelves were absolutely teeming with Dr Jart products. Seriously, my antennae were twitching as I came down the escalators into the Norwich store! Dr Jart + - Ceramidin Liquid £14.99 (rrp £33.00) Limited funds meant that I couldn't go all 'Supermarket Sweep' and pick up multiples of everything - but there was no way that I wasn't coming away empty handed. I picked up a back-up of the Ceramidin Liquid (I'm currently almost finished with a deluxe mini size of this). Also available was the Ceramidin Gel Cream (£14.99) the Ceramidin Oil Balm (£9.99 - which my mum picked up for me from another store!), the Help Me! Ceramidin Trial Kit, some Dr Jart sheet masks (only £2.99) and the Dermaclear Micro Milk Peel (£12.99).  Patyka - Cornflower Water Micellar Gel Cleanser (£4.00 RRP £24.70) and Spearmint Purifying Foaming Gel (£5.99 RRP £24.70) ...
