April has been another great month of new discoveries - some of the new products that I've tried this month have already become firm and lasting favourites that will always have a place in my collection.       Skin Alchemists - The Humble Warrior Complete Cleansing Oil The Humble Warrior by Skin Alchemists became one of those products that I loved at first use. Everything about this product is just perfect, from it's elegant yet sexy looking black and gold branding to it's ability to create an intensely pleasurable cleansing experience. I don't know how, but when using this oil cleanser my skin actually tingles with pleasure! This was my favourite product from the March Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box  and although for me it's on the pricier side of what I'd usually be happy paying for a product, I don't think I ever want to be without it in the future! Always very happy to receive my Look Fantastic Beauty Box and it's one where I intentionally avoid seeing any 'sneak peeks' as I'm usually delighted with the contents every month. In the past, I've tended to 'go off' a beauty subscription box after a few months as they always seem to get weaker. Not so with the Look Fantastic box, but there have been a couple where I haven't been as excited at first glance.   I'm going to rate this beauty box a little differently this month - giving a first impressions/excitement score for when you first open the box and a score for the design of the box, as I've realised that this actually has more of an impact on me than I thought it did. I've been procrastinating on whether or not to buy a Dermaroller and try this at home  myself for a while now. Reviews of at-home dermarolling all seemed to be very positive, and most people stated that it doesn't hurt as much as you think it would (rolling needles into your face) which I think was the main thing holding me back!   I'd already decided that I'd start with the smallest needle size I could get (in this case 0.3mm) but took a while deciding where to buy from.   Whilst previously buying from Clamanti.co.uk I'd been really impressed with the Bielenda Professional range and noticed that they had everything you'd need for Derma-rolling at home. It's been a big month of consumerism for me! Here are some of my favourite items that I've picked up and enjoyed using in August.   Very make-up orientated choices this month. My absolute favourite buys and discovery were the Colourpop cosmetics. I've been using these daily since I got them and still haven't managed to try them all out yet and there's certainly more permutations for me to conjure up using the colours I have. I wrote about this haul a little while ago - HERE .   Urban Decay - Naked Heat palette rrp £39.00 Two palettes stuck out in my mind as being splashed all over social media and they were the Urban Decay Naked palette and the Anastasia Beverley Hills Subculture palette. The Subculture palette caused such a hoo-ha everywhere due to the extreme fall out and bad blending.
