Late to the Party

Another good month for empties. Lots of items that have been hanging around for ages and that I wanted to finish off. I'm finally coming to the end of my large collection of products from The Ordinary. For me, it's definitely been one of those brands where I initially bought almost everything they released, but there have been very few (if any) that I'd go back to repurchase (possibly the Argireline and the Niacinamide).  Key:   WR - Will repurchase or have already repurchased. MR - Might repurchase at a later date after similar products in my stash have been used up first. WNR - Will not repurchase. It was gentle and soothing on my eyes and worked really well as a compress when my eyes were sore, tired or felt puffy. Great value for money, although I did have to buy online from France. I bought a similar(ish) product to replace this (Patyka Cornflower Micellar Gel Cleanser) but already I'm wishing that I'd just repurchased this! It's that time of year again - a bi-annual skinventory where I show off my stash and see what I need to use up! First Cleanse     Totals: 15 5 Cream/Milk Cleansers (4 full size - 1 Mini) 1 Micellar Water 7 Cleansing Balms (2 full size - 5 mini) 2 Cleansing Oils (2 mini) This is my favourite category and one that I don't mind being a bit larger as I love variety. I'm also very fickle and tend not to repeat purchase too many products as there's always something new to try. However, in saying that, the A.Florence Skincare balm cleanser is a definite keeper! My favourite first cleansers are cleansing balms and oils, so my goal is to use up the cleansing milks and the mini sizes, especially ones that have been in my stash for the longest. Here's my selection of products that I'm trying to finish off this month   * The Body Shop - Chinese Ginseng and Rice Toner A second month for this uber-hydrating toner. Although I've been using it pretty much every morning, it's taking a while to finish off. Oddly, sometimes this stings ever so slightly when I apply it and I can't work out why that should be - it obviously doesn't sit too well with something else that I may use in my morning routine. * Elemis - Bliss Capsules There's only about half a dozen of these capsules left in the pot so it shouldn't be so hard to use them up. Rose for the morning and Lavender for the night. These have been languishing in my drawers for ages, so I can't have been that enamoured by them. Another great month of progress with lots of full size products being used up. However, this was also a month where I ran out of a lot of daily/essential items so I did buy quite a lot of replacement and new products (plus some others - just because!)   Firstly though - the items I de-cluttered this month:   * TonyMoly Apple Tox Peeling Cream - This was actually part of my June Use it Up project, but after using it a couple of times I realised that it had definitely expired! It smelled a bit odd but was also no longer working in the same way it used to. * White Rabbit - After making a mid-year inventory for all my skincare products, I noticed that the expiration date for this was long past. Being a hand-made, small-batch product, this only had a shelf life of 6 months. I opened it over a year ago. So sadly, this went too. * Nip + Fab Bee Sting Fix Cream Deluxe - Another expired product.
