Unboxing ~ Naturisimo Veganuary Discovery Box - January 2020

In January, Naturisimo released their 'Veganuary' Discovery Box.
This box features nine plant-based and 100% vegan products.

Remarkably, it's still available as I write this (they usually sell out really quickly) and costs just £19.95.

Let's take a closer look at what you'll find in the Veganuary Discovery Box.

Although Boucleme make products aimed at curly hair, and my hair is poker straight, I was excited to see this product in the box and it was actually one of the products that made my mind up to buy this box. I'm loving the idea of a weekly scalp exfoliation and I'm looking forward to trying this out.
The shampoo has the uplifting properties of spearmint, sweet orange and marjoram to invigorate your scalp with a gentle cooling sensation.
Hydrogenated castor beads softly exfoliate whilst stimulating the hair follicles to promote growth. The exfoliation removes dead skin cells and product build up and will leave your scalp feeling fresh, energised and indulged.

Evolve Beauty are such a consistently brilliant brand. They offer a huge array of products in varying sizes (including samples for just £1) and are great value for money too.
I've never tried any of their hair or body products though so this Daily Apple Hair and Body Wash is a product I'm definitely looking forward to trying out.
This smells gorgeous - just like a fresh, crisp, juicy green apple. Key ingredients include Quinoa protein which has film-forming and water retention benefits to protect hair from environmental stresses. It can also maintain hair colour and boost shine.
Gentle enough to use daily.

Having recently been only introduced to Bybi (and liking what I found) I was more than eager to get hold of some of Bybi's original iconic product, the Babe Balm.
You've got to love a multi-purpose product and the Babe Balm is certainly that!
Light enough to be used as a moisturising cream for face, neck and chest; as a protective balm for areas of severe hydration and dry patches; as a highlighter, illuminator or lip gloss and mixed with mineral makeup to create your own bespoke blushes and lip stains.
Key ingredients include Coenzyme Q10 with its powerful antioxidant properties and Calendula and Hibiscus extracts.

A supercharged infusion of organic avocado and coconut oils, shea butter and Rose of Jericho.
This hand cream is velvety soft on application and absorbs completely, leaving no sticky or greasy residue. The scent is out of this world! Looking at the ingredients, this fabulous scent comes from a blend of orange peel, geranium, lavender, patchouli, clove, vetiver, cinammon and ylang ylang oils.
A perfect handbag sized hand cream for on-the-go hand protection. I'm pretty sure I'll be repurchasing  a full size sometime soon!

The full sized Vitamin C Booster Treatment gives an intense two week brightening treatment with 6% high potency natural Vitamin C.
I'm not sure how many uses this 5ml sample will give but I'm looking forward to finding out.
Vitamin C has to be my all-time favourite skincare treatment - brightening, radiance, smoothing and skin re-texturing are my skin goals and Vitamin C provides all of these results. This treatment also includes Daisy extract for an illumination boost, Hyaluronic Acid to smooth and hydrate and Rosehip Oil which is deeply nourishing.
The sample size comes with a separate pipette lid. This is explained on the back of the box as "this product is so active, the two components are kept separate for you to freshly activate when ready to start your treatment".

The Naturisimo boxes are great because they always offer a good mix of skincare, body and hair care and makeup. The makeup category is represented by this Bellapierre translucent high definition Finishing Powder. It's a good-sized 6.5g worth of product and comes with a dinky powder puff.
Described as "an impossibly smooth powder that mattifies and sets makeup in place".

You bet I wanted to get my hands on another Indie Lee product!
I first tried Indie Lee thanks to a previous Naturisimo box in the form of the Rosehip Cleanser and that quickly became one of my favourite second cleansers I've tried.
The Purifying Face Wash is a gentle yet powerful cleanser. It removes makeup and impurities whilst brightening the complexion, targeting excess sebum and softening the skin.
There's some stellar ingredients, including java plum, orange and lavender extracts to soothe the skin and remove excess sebum; clove, burdock and mandarin to promote a clearer, brighter complexion and rose damascena and jasmine for supple and smooth skin.

The Antioxidant Face Firming Serum has been called 'the instant face lift' due to its powerful skin properties. It promises to reduce wrinkles, reversr skin damage, repel free radicals and lift and tone the skin. It contains Rosehip, Grapeseed, Alphalipoic Acid, DMAE, Carrot & Grapefruit.
Sounds pretty impressive!

The second part of this duo is the Antioxidant Face Gel. The Gel can be mixed with the Antioxidant Face Firming Serum in your evening routine and applied onto damp skin right after your toner, instead of night cream. It can also be used in the morning - after toner but before moisturiser.
Rich in marine algae, sea minerals, nutrients, collagen boosting herbs and cosmeceutical vitamins. The face gel sounds as impressive as the serum. It promises to minimise pores, reduce wrinkles, repel free radicals, reverse skin damage and tone the skin.
I was loving the sound of this duo, but unfortunately for me, Aloe is the second ingredient in the face gel so I don't think I'm going to be able to use this.

The Naturisimo discovery boxes are some of the best natural beauty edits to be found. Great value for money and with a fabulous selection of skincare, hair and body care and makeup. These boxes often afford the chance to try out new brands and I've found that there have been several inclusions where I will go back and buy the full sizes as I've been so impressed.
Wondering what the next box will bring!
