Unboxing ~ Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box November 2019

I'm always delighted when it's delivery day of my favourite beauty subscription box - the Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box.
The November box theme was Sleep Retreat which perfectly sums up the month of November as far as I'm concerned! It's a time when we're just getting used to the darker evenings and the colder weather and we'd love to give in to our animal hibernation instincts telling us to eat lots of snacks, curl up in the warm and have a good long snooze!

Whether you're a champion at sleeping or maybe (like me) have trouble getting a good nights kip, the Sleep Retreat box is packed with some pretty gorgeous products to help us find our way to the Land of Nod.

The Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box is a Bi-monthly subscription service offering a selection of five full/deluxe sample sized natural beauty, skincare and makeup products.
100% natural, organic, non-toxic, eco-friendly, cruelty free, ethically sourced and often from up and coming British Indie Natural Beauty brands, the products chosen are free from Parabens, Petrochemicals, PEGs (petroleum-based compounds), silicones, Sodium Laureth or Lauryl Sulphate, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol , Synthetic Colours and Fragrances, Triclosan,  Formaldehyde, Toulene, Benzophenone/PABA, Petroleum/Mineral oil, Alcohol, Urea, PEG, PG/BG, Dioxin, Aluminium, DEET, Camphor, Talc and Carmine.

A Bi-monthly subscription costs £25.00  BUY HERE

This month featured five products to help us get our snooze on!
I've not tried anything from any of these brands before. There was one brand I'd not heard of and one brand - Niskama- who were actually on my wish list. This seems to be a regular occurrence with the Skin Organics box, Paula has an innate ability to pick products that I've been hankering after!

Let's take a closer look:

Lunar & Lux - Mama Moon Botanical Candle
I think this is my favourite product from this month's box.
I've seen this featured in many an Instagram post so Lunar & Lux have been on my radar for a while now.

The Mama Moon candle has been created as a perfect accompaniment for a restful evening, helping to ensure that your mind and body is relaxed and calm before bed.
Lavender and Chamomile essential oils are added for maximum relaxation vibes.
The candle also has rose quartz crystal which have been charged and cleansed under the full moon with sage to boost their natural energies.

This is such a beautifully presented candle with added dried rose buds scattered across the top. Obviously, these need to be removed before lighting the candle!
The wooden wick makes the candle crackle as it burns - I've never tried a crackle candle before so I'm very excited to try this!

Haoma - Handmade Lavender Soap

I've not heard of this brand before - I love how the Skin Organics Beauty Box introduces me to so many new British brands
Another beautifully presented product, wrapped in twine and attached to the label with a pretty copper wax seal. I love these little touches in presentation. Not only do they make extra special gifts but I think they add that little something extra when treating yourself.
I never want to have to see a bland, supermarket, cellophane-wrapped soap in my life again!

This cold-process soap has been made with a blend of certified organic oils including Olive, Hemp, Cacao and Coconut. The 'Superfatting' technique creates a luxurious and hydrating soap bar which can be used on hands, body and even as a facial cleanser.
The soaps are cured for a minimum of six weeks to offer a rich lather and intense moisturisation.

Niskama Skincare - Dry Skin Relief Body Balm

Yes! Niskama was the brand that I had on my wish-list after seeing some very tantalising texture shots of their products. So I was delighted to see one of the products that I wanted to try in this month's box.

I've never tried a solid body balm before and have always been intrigued about how they perform.
This multi-functional solid body balm is made with a base of nourishing Cocoa and Shea Butters. Scented with Ylang Ylang and Lavender, which when combined, creates an almost spicy scent with a tiny hint of aniseed.
When held against the skin, the body's natural heat gently melts the balm instantly which gives you a lovely slip for application.
The shape of the bar means that you can get maximum coverage using the wider base of the bar and more direct application with the edges or top of the bar.

Ezape Naturals - Ylang Ylang and Lavender Body Oil

Ezape Naturals is another brand who I've been interested in trying.
This gorgeous green-hued body oil was a fantastic discovery in this month's box.
Interesting to note how the blend of Ylang Ylang and Lavender (like with the Niskama Body Balm) makes an entirely new and unique scent which is a little punchy and tangy.
This is a rich and quite dense oil but still has a great slip when applying to the body. It also absorbs well without leaving my skin feeling oily, so I'll be looking forward to bringing this into my body care rituals.

Ila Spa - Inner Peace Bath Salts

The Ila Spa bath salts were this month's 'sneak peak' and were a great hint at the loveliness levels to expect from the Sleep Retreat box!
Rich in healing minerals, the bath salts will be ideal for an evening relaxing soak in the bath (maybe accompanied by the Lunar & Lux candle for a full-on pampering session).
Scented with meditative Sandalwood and sensual and relaxing Jasmine essential oils, I'm really looking forward to planning some serious self-care time in the bath when using these.

I really loved every single product in this month's box as they're all products that aim to pamper, soothe and treat the senses as well as my skin.
The next Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box will be available in January 2020.
