A facial oil specially blended to hydrate and protect the skin moving into cooler Autumn weather. Repairs damage caused by environmental and climate specific stressors, leaving your skin with a healthy vitamin and mineral enriched glow.

Ingredients
Pumpkin Seed Oil, Red Raspberry Seed Oil, Benzoin, Petitgrain, Arctic Harvested Blackcurrant.

Packaging
Glass tube with plastic rollerball application.

Scent and Texture (and colour!)
I have to firstly comment on the Autumn Oil's glorious colour. NK Naturals have really managed to capture the colour of Autumn (think falling leaves) in this facial oil. And the same goes for their other season oils too - the colours perfectly match the feel of each season.
The scent is sweet and citrus-y - very warm, rounded and comforting.

Application
Can be used in both morning and evening skincare routines after cleansing.
Spritz face lightly with a facial mist and apply using the rollerball applicator to face and neck.

NK Naturals include an informative diagramatic sheet detailing the best way to give yourself a Lymphatic drainage massage.

Thoughts
I'd usually let more time pass before I reviewed a product so I can get a feel for any longer term benefits and results. But I wanted to be timely and review this in during the season that it's intended for - so this is more of a first impressions review.
But actually, I don't feel that will make a huge amount of difference to my thoughts as the Autumn Facial Oil is one of those products that gets to work very quickly and does have a lot of immediate benefits.

My first impressions of the new packaging with it's rollerball application was one of slight concern. I wondered about how this might effect the efficacy of application. I have found certain products with this type of application can be a bit hit or miss, that the ball can sometimes not be quite as fluid in movement as required, often resulting in dragging on the skin and imprecise application.
But the more I used this, the more I came to appreciate it. The rollerball really helps with regulating the amount of product that is released. I'm often a bit heavy-handed with the amount of facial oil I use, but with the rollerball I found that the amount of oil dispensed was just right.

Some of the facial oils in my collection are reserved for night time use only - particularly the heavier, richer oils that may not completely absorb into my skin. These are the 'feeders' that I like to let work their magic overnight when my skin is in repair mode.
Autumn Oil is one of the oils that I can use in both my morning and evening skincare routines. Because of the rollerball application and also because it's a reasonably 'light' oil, I have no problems using this in my morning routine under makeup. It absorbs quickly and therefore doesn't sit on my skin, so my face doesn't get oilier in the day (or start oily) and my makeup won't slide off!
When I use this at night, I will use a facial mist prior to application and I find that I use more of the oil at night so it's more of an overnight treatment - repairing my skin and replenishing moisture as I sleep.

Autumn Oil is great for reducing the redness in my colder-weather-borne ruddy cheeks! The inclusion of Pumpkin Seed Oil reduces redness and irritation and I can certainly see that Autumn Oil has calmed my skin and helped to even out my complexion.

The colour and scent absolutely manage to encapsulate a great Autumn vibe.
Benzoin is a sap from trees from the Styrax species. As well as being an anti-inflammatory, an antiseptic and anti-microbial, it also has an uplifting effect on the mood. I like to think that it's this tree-essence that gives the Autumn Oil its feel-good properties.
This is the time of year when I actually look forward to darker evenings, pulling out the winter jumpers and snuggling up with a good book or just relaxing in front of the TV. Using the Autumn Oil in my routines is just like pulling out your warmer clothes and protecting yourself from the elements but for your skin. Autumn Oil perfectly manages to combine skin care and self care together so this is a really great all-round, feel-good product.
