NK Naturals - Spring Seasonal Range

* One of these products was gifted as a PR Sample. The rest I paid for myself.

I was soooo excited when Nicola at N.K Naturals announced that she was about to release a new range of seasonal skin products.
As you know, I'm already a huge fan of NK Natural's Season Oils (Winter Oil Review & Autumn Oil Review) and the Spring Oil was already on my shopping list.

Every season specific ingredient targets the environmental and climatic changes that the turn of each season brings. All the products are handmade using seasonal ingredients from whole plants and using traditional extraction methods.

Shopping for NK Naturals is always such a treat. The packaging and presentation is beautiful - I love the little hessian drawstring bag that the products came in and the extra little touches such as the copper ring and charm tied on.

Before the new product launch was announced, I had already put my order in for some Spring Season Oil in time for the Equinox. I was absolutely delighted when Nicola popped in a surprise gift of her as yet unreleased Spring Cleansing Balm.

This oil perfectly personifies the fresh, green, awakening spirit of the spring.
Light yet powerful, this oil dances along with the skin's need for lighter layers whilst still addressing the transition period where skin can be more sensitive and prone to allergies and irritation.
Blended with coconut and oat kernel oil, the oil is soothing and cooling and can reduce inflammation. This oil features two of my all time favourite healing ingredients - yarrow and blue chamomile which offer a super boost of soothing and comforting properties.
Lavender and palmarosa re-balance the skin and encourage cell regeneration.
This is a real 'wake up' call for skin and even on first use, I can see the difference when using this in my morning routine - my skin looks glowing, radiant, clear and healthy.
The NK Naturals website recommends this as use in the evening, but I actually prefer using in the morning for it's brightening and freshening properties. Plus the oil absorbs quickly and is light and dry enough to wear under makeup without making my skin too oily (and I do have oily-combination skin, so this is no mean feat!).

The oil comes with a leaflet of how to perform a lymphatic drainage massage on the skin with an easy to follow diagram. This is best performed in the evening to encourage overnight skin regeneration and wake up with nourished PH balanced skin.

£25 for 60ml

Now this cleansing balm is something incredibly special!
I know I'm prone to eulogise about balms, but this one really does deserve it's own sermon. Lightly scented with the 'Spring' range's signature scent of lavender, chamomile, palmarosa and yarrow.
But the texture is what really made my jaw drop! It's so incredibly silky and smooth and glides on skin like an absolute dream.
It's non-irritating so is safe (and very effective) to use on the eye area. It does emulsify slightly, but, as I always do, I like to use a damp face cloth to remove.

You only need a tiny amount as the slip is so good. This cleansing balm definitely combines business with pleasure. It's incredibly effective at removing all daily grime, make up and SPF but also has the luxurious feel of a pampering facial massage every time you use it.

Spring Copper Distilled Botanical Mist
£15 for 50ml

This is an absolutely beautiful facial mist. Cooling and soothing and very hydrating.
Because it's copper distilled using traditional methods, flower and herb waters retain traces of their essential oils creating the perfect PH balance for skin.
There is a multitude of uses for the mist - I mostly use as a toner, as a spritz between skincare layers and just whenever I feel I need a soothing and cooling boost to my skin throughout the day.
It can also be used in conjunction with the cleansing balm for a light and refreshing morning cleanse; after a deep steam inhalation to soothe and cool the skin and also as a treatment spray when misted onto cotton pads and worn over the eyes to relax and soothe tired, puffy eyes.

Also available from the seasonal range is the Spring Deep Steam Salt Infusion (£15 for 120ml) and the Spring Enriched Protection Daily Moisturiser (£30 for 60ml). The entire seasonal range is available as a set for £85.
