Image
Love Lula Beauty Box December 2019 The Love Lula Beauty Box is available as a one-off box for £19.95, or on a rolling monthly plan for £14.95 - both of these prices are inclusive of postage and packaging. Other subscription plans are available - Subscribe  HERE . I had actually cancelled my subscription to the Love Lula Box in an attempt to try and reduce the amount of products from piling up in my skincare stash. So I was quite surprised when the December box arrived in the post. Surprised, but not at all disappointed as I think this is one of the better boxes from the past few months. This box features four full sized products which have a total value of £47.00. So while not a hugely high value box, the products are all really exciting and I'm looking forward to trying every single one of them. There's also a 25% discount code which can be redeemed at Love Lula against any of the brands featured in this month's box. Let's take a closer look:...

I recently chose my favourite skincare products from 2019 which was no mean feat as I've tried a lot of really fantastic products throughout the year. Now it's time to choose my favourite body and hair care products - and as with the skincare products, the majority of them have been made by some fantastic Indie Natural Beauty brands. Shower & Bath  Most of my bath and shower products actually come from Beauty Subscription boxes. I personally find this a great way to try out products that I previously may not have heard of or wouldn't think about trying. Below are my favourites that I've tried throughout the year and ones that I'll be repurchasing again. Bumi Naturals - Body Polish with Hemp, Poppy & Lavender* With a sumptuous base of cold-pressed hemp and avocado oil, this body polish is scented with lavender and uses poppy seeds for natural exfoliation. It's an incredibly rich and nourishing balm type texture which leaves your body c...

The Best of 2019 ~ Skincare

Image
2019 was a year of discovery for me. Most of the products I bought, used and loved the most were from some of the UK's best natural skincare brands. And the UK really does have such an amazing nationwide tribe of Indie skincare brands who are showing the bigger brands exactly how it should be done!  Ingredient and production transparency, ethical commitment to fair trade, recyclable packaging, reducing the carbon footprint, cruelty free, small batch, personalised customer service - these are the qualities that are most important for me when choosing products and I think all the brands mentioned in this post deliver all of these qualities as well as exceptional products. Viva Indie Skincare! * This post contains PR Samples* Best Brands of 2019 I have tried so many products from so many fantastic British Indie Skincare brands this year and it really was difficult to judge one above another. The brands I've chosen this year are brands where I have either tried their ...
