Second Cleanser Wish List
My last post was a review of the Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser, which has very nearly gained the title of 'Holy Grail'. But, as I mentioned in that post, I'm still on the hunt to discover my go-to second cleanser and the one which I will hopefully want to re-purchase again and again.

Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
This has been on my wish-list for a long time as reviews have consistently been superb for this product. It's only very recently been able to buy in the UK from Timeless UK for £24.99.
Alternatively, there are many reputable Korean sellers on Ebay (as it's currently sold out on the Timeless site). I've recently ordered from a Korean seller (approx £19) and am waiting for delivery - I'll let you know how I get on with this in a review form.
The details: An antioxidant cleanser that doesn’t mess up your skin barrier, lifting everything your skin doesn't want while leaving what it needs—healthy pH, hydration, antioxidants and no irritation. Matcha and hemp seeds are here to boost the skin’s intake of antioxidants and essential fatty acids.

I tried a sample of this when I previously bought some more A. Florence Skincare products. Although I only got a couple of uses from the sample I was instantly impressed. This has a gorgeous gel texture, was non-drying and non-irritating and left my skin super smooth and soft after use.
The inclusion of Aloe in the ingredients was a worry for me as I do have sensitivity to Aloe Vera, but I'm guessing as this is a wash-off product, I didn't experience any irritation.
The details:This non-foaming and non stripping gel gently removes makeup, pollution and excess oil, leaving skin soft, refreshed and perfectly balanced. Enriched with matcha green tea, chlorella, aloe, pro-vitamin B5, oat and hyaluronic acid, this concentrated gel could be used as a hydrating flash mask as well as a cleanser. It effectively cleanses without irritation and over-drying. (Source)
Alteya Organics - Rose Otto Face Wash
£17.00 for 250ml
I previously tried a small sample of this from Love Lula. It was a single use sachet, but that single use really had me intrigued. I've loved all the Alteya Organics products that I've tried before. Plus, this is the best value for money out of all the cleansers on my wish list.
The Rose Otto cleanser had exactly the right gel texture that I love in a second cleanser and it had a great scent. I also remember that it was non-drying, without irritation and left my face soft after use.
The Details: Certified organic, award-winning, mild, and gentle, Alteya’s Rose Facial Wash effectively removes every-day impurities, oil and make-up while being kind to the skin. Rich in nutrients and fatty acids, it leaves your skin healthy fresh, nourished, and softer than ever. The Organic Bulgarian Rose Oil helps improve complexion, rejuvenates and balances skin. The beautifying organic blend of essential oils helps tone and firm the skin and promotes moisture retention. Extra gentle and suitable for daily use and for all skin types. (source)

I'm not sure about this one - I think to be honest, the appeal is more novelty than anything. I do like the idea of a Blueberry Cleanser! But you can buy a 30ml travel size of this on Cult Beauty for £10, so I'd like to try it and see how it stacks up against other second cleansers that I've tried.
The Details: Feed your body’s largest organ with antioxidant-rich blueberries with this rich, ‘bouncy’ gel cleanser. Newly reformulated, this mildly lathering cleanser thoroughly cleans and deeply hydrates skin simultaneously, so that it’s refreshed and moisturised in one simple step. A quenching cleanser and deep-cleaning mask in one, the formula features blueberry extract and gentle alpha hydroxy acids to exfoliate, clarify and strengthen cells, leaving skin soft, dewy and beautifully bouncy (source)
Any more you think I should add to the list?
