Thoughts

What is this magic? How can something which is left on the skin for such a short amount of time be so incredibly effective?

Flash masks are a relatively new concept and have undoubtedly become popular for promising (and mostly delivering) instant gratification with their skin brightening results.
The Just a Minute mask is such a great fit within the Pure Savvy range, as Pure Savvy is a brand who caters for the busy, time-starved woman or man in it's no-nonsense, quick, simple but effective approach to skincare.

If you've been reading me for a while then you'll know that I'm pretty much the exact opposite to this approach - I like the long-drawn out ritual of a routine and I approach the altar of skincare with all the drama, ceremony and seriousness as if it were a spiritual enlightenment!!

But with the Pure Savvy range I have definitely had my eyes open to the 'other way' and I can't deny it, it's been an illuminating education and there's certainly no arguing with the benefits of a speedy skincare routine - particularly if the results are just as effective as a long and involved routine.

With my constant efforts to achieve brighter, fresher, tighter skin and owning and using so many products which promise to give me those results, it can often feel that instant results are becoming less obvious. There's no greater feeling than to use a brand new product and be blown away by it's instant brightening, only to realise that with every successive use, the results appear slightly diminished and you find yourself immune to its charms!
I've been using 'Just a Minute' for a few months now, once or twice a week, and I'm happy to report that every single use feels just like the first time!
My skin is noticeably brighter, my skin tone much more even and skin texture is quite dramatically softened and tightened. Every. Single. Time!

I have long since come to realise that gentle enzyme exfoliation is the best way for my skin. Fruit enzymes in particular have proved extremely effective.
Just a minute contains several natural exfoliators, such as Papaya Fruit Extract and Willow Bark Extract. I've noticed that products containing Willow Bark extract are fab for reducing redness.
Spilanthes Acmella helps restructure, firm and smooth the skin and I'm guessing is responsible for the noticeable firming effect that Just a Minute gives.
And finally, the mask contains Hyaluronic Acid to provide a protective barrier on the skin, helping to retain and lock-in moisture.

I have tried several flash masks but Just a Minute stands out way above the rest as consistently effective with the best results.
Yet another reason why Pure Savvy products have earned their status of 'find of the year!'
