Unboxing ~ Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box July 2019

This is the last monthly Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box before switching to a bi-monthly box, and Paula has certainly made sure that it's a box to remember!

July's box has the theme 'Bon Voyage' and is ideal for those lucky enough to be pootling off on their summer holidays. But, if like me, you're having a bit of a stay-cation this summer, don't worry! These products will ensure that you can enjoy these balmy summer days wherever you are and keep your skin in summer-ready condition.

What's in the box?

Five products to ensure that your summer skin is well and truly pampered from head to toe!

Let's take a closer look:

Bain & Savon - Peony Salt Foot Scrubs
RRP £6.50
This gorgeous tin of beautifully presented heart-shaped foot scrubs immediately caught my eye.
Blended with fresh flower petals, sea salt, organic cocoa butter and organic coconut oil, these scrubs will polish and smooth rough and dry feet.

This is the first product from the box that I tried!
Directions are to use in the bath - use one bar to scrub the bottom of your feet and the salts will dissolve into the water after they've exfoliated any rough patches. Then you're left with the organic oils and butters to seal in moisture.
During this heatwave, I really enjoyed using one of these scrubs in a tepid foot bath to cool my feet. The level of exfoliation was perfect, plus the gorgeous floral scent and the silky smooth oils was a really lovely pampering treat.

No Secrets 'One' Bath Jelly
RRP £9.00
This is the second 'No Secrets' product that I've tried so I was happy to see this intriguingly named 'Bath Jelly' in the box.

Just look at that gorgeous texture!
This delectable jelly nectar has a seriously uplifting scent from the blend of bergamot, petitgrain, eucalyptus, juniper and lavender essentials oils used.
Directions are to apply the entire jar to your body before entering the bath (or shower in my case). When you massage the jelly into dry skin it stimulates circulation and relieves tension. Once in the bath or shower, the water dissolves the jelly into a silky oil. And once out of the bath, there's no need for a separate body oil as your skin is already left feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. It's gorgeous stuff!
Also makes a great leg-shaving gel too!

Skin Alchemists - 'Sesenne' Luxury Renewal Elixir
RRP £30.00
This was this month's sneak peak and really ramped the excitement levels up!
Skin Alchemist's The Humble Warrior Cleansing Oil from a previous Skin Organics box was  my favourite ever product from all of the boxes I've received so I was overjoyed to see the inclusion of another Skin Alchemists product.
This product is tagged under 'hypnotic, opulent and sensual' and it really does fulfill all of these descriptions and more! I don't know how they do it (I'm guessing that's where the alchemy comes into it!) but the ritual of using Skin Alchemists products is always an almost out-of-body experience!
Sesenne has a base of Cacay Seed Oil, Rosehip, Blackseed, Chia seed, Prickly pear, Pumpkin and Sea Buckthorn oils to heal and renew. Rose de Mai, Lime, Carrot Seed and Geranium help to diminish lines and uneven tone. Jasmine and Myrrh give a dewy finish and Frankincense and Cocoa improve skin’s elasticity.
It's a truly magical elixir.

AA Skincare - Frankincense & Rose Floral Toner
RRP £4.00
This is a brand I'd heard of previously but had not tried any of their products.
I was loving the sound of Frankincense and Rose Toner as they are two of my favourite essential oil scents. Unfortunately, the scent didn't exactly match my expectations and I found it to be quite an unusual scent and one that I found a bit too much, so sadly, I don't think this one's for me.

Badger Balm - Organic Aftersun Balm - Blue Tansy and Lavender
RRP £9.99
I'm guessing that we'll all be reaching for this after sun balm sometime during this heatwave!
Firstly, what a super cute tin packaging! And secondly - Blue Tansy!! I absolutely love Blue Tansy and will always look out for products which use it. It's one of those miracle essential oils that can calm and soothe your skin when it's at its most sensitive or difficult. So a brilliant ingredient to feature in an after sun balm.

I just saw a fantastic tip from another Skin Organics subscriber in that they also use this as a post-shave balm, so that's something I'll definitely have to try out too. I'm guessing that due to the healing and soothing Blue Tansy and Lavender, this balm can be used whenever your skin is feeling irritated.

So there we have it!
Yet another stunning box from Skin Organics.
I was worried that I may have serious withdrawal not receiving this box monthly from now on, but at least Paula has kept us all well sated with another curation of fabulous products till the next box in September.
