Evering Botanique X My Made In Box

The Evering Botanique X My Made in Box

Back in December I chose this box as one of my 'Objects of Desire' , after having spotted it in Evering Botanique's Etsy Shop. And then a few weeks later was deliriously happy to have won the box in a giveaway!

This is a special, limited edition box in collaboration with My Made In Box.
It features a pretty comprehensive range of travel sized products from Evering Botanique and includes a mini Lemongrass Soy Candle from Vegan Bunny and a gorgeous small Turkish Fouta towel.

The box is still available in Evering Botanique's Etsy shop and costs £40 (BUY HERE)
This is a fabulous way to try out some of Evering Boutique's most popular products.

Let's take a closer look at this fantastic box of goodies.

Gigi - Body Balm(15ml)

One word immediately springs to mind with this luxurious oil-based body balm - verdant!
Everything about it is fresh and green, from it's delicious green colouring to the ultra fresh scent of Ylang Ylang, Geranium and Grapefruit Oils.
Inspired by a French family recipe, this balm is soft and silky and altogether more gloopily scoopable than other, more solid balms and butters.
It's beautiful to apply and glides effortlessly over your skin, absorbing reasonably quickly for an oil-based balm. You don't need more than a finger dollop to get good coverage.

Bloop! Look at that must-touch consistency!

 Agrume Facial Oil

Designed with oily and blemish-prone skin in mind, but also ideal for mature skin.
Agrume is perfect for a day time facial oil. Its uplifting and upbeat fresh scent of Neroli, Sweet Orange and Grapefruit essential oils will not fail to make you smile and feel all perky and energised, however dull the weather may be outside!
This facial oil absorbs really quickly when used on it's own so is great for wearing under your makeup.  But if you're not feeling up to a full-on facial oil layer, just add a drop or two to your usual daytime moisturiser as a booster.

Sage Facial Oil
Sage is a fabulous choice for your evening skincare routine.
Designed for normal and dry skin, this oil contains a blend of Argan Oil, Camellia Seed Oil, Borage Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rosehip Oil, Thistle/Safflower Oil and Hemp Seed Oil. All of which contain soothing, antioxidant and regenerative properties.
Scented with Lavender, Clary Sage and Cypress Oils - these essential oils are all well-known and loved for their restful and calming powers, making this an ideal 'sweet dreams' relaxig and soothing scent.
This one is a little heavier than the Agrume Oil and takes slightly longer to absorb, but that's never a problem for me as I use it last thing at night at the very end of my evening skincare routine, allowing all of those natural ingredients to work in overnight on my skin.  I wake up the next day with my skin feeling well refreshed, nourished, plump and softened. There's never any morning-after greasy residue - it's absorbed completely into my skin as I sleep.

 Bourbon Body Oil

This intensely nourishing body oil contains a blend of moisturising natural oils such as Hemp Seed Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Camellia Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Rosehip Oil and Meadowfoam Oil - all of which protect, soothe and repair skin. Scented with Neroli, Ylang-Ylang and citrus oils, the scent is perfectly balanced and up-lifting.
My own preferred method of use is to apply this to slightly damp skin after a shower. Despite the blend of nourishing oils, it's quick to absorb, which means no hanging around waiting to get dressed after your shower. You can also add a couple of drops of this to your bath, as the stunning scent is just ideal for a long, luxurious soak.

One thing that never fails to fascinate and delight is the range of natural hues found in facial and body oils. No one is the same colour!

If, like me, you'd be hard pressed to choose just one of Evering Botanique's stunning products to try, this box makes for a fantastic introduction to their range. Obviously the added extras are a complete bonus too.
