Evolve Beauty Brand Review

Evolve Beauty are a brand that I've been aware of for some time and their products had been on my wish-list for a while. During the Black Friday sales I picked up one of their 'Taster kits' and soon after I won their giveaway on Twitter in December. I was over the moon when I received a huge box of three of their Christmas gift sets and was finally able to try them out.

Calm & Bright Christmas Cracker

Inside this cracker was a Daily Defence Moisture Mist (30ml), Hyaluronic Serum 200 (10ml) and Daily Renew Facial Cream (30ml)

Daily Defence Moisture Mist
£10.00 for 30ml/£20.00 for 100ml
This is definitely going to be a 'repurchase' product! Incredibly versatile - I've been using this as a general refreshing mist throughout the day and between steps in my skincare routine for an extra burst of hydration. It works really well over makeup too and does appear to give my base makeup a second life during the day after spraying this. The mister on the bottle is perfect - just the right amount of spray.
Contains Prickly Pear, which I'm beginning to realise that my skin loves for it's calming and soothing properties. Also contains Moringa Peptides which protect the skin against pollution attacks by facilitating the removal of an invisible skin damaging film caused by micro-particles. Apparently, crushed Moringa seeds are also known for their capacity to purify dirty water. And finally, with your favourite ingredient and mine - good old Hyaluronic Acid, which is such an essential daily ingredient that I'm more than happy when it makes its way into other products - the more hte merrier!

Hyaluronic Serum 200
£12.00 for 10ml/ £30.00 for 30ml
This is a beautiful serum. You only need one pump to cover your entire face and neck. It layers well with other products and doesn't leave my skin feeling tacky.
This is fabulous for instant hydration and skin-plumping. This serum contains 200mg of hyaluronic acid in each bottle. It also contains Pomegranate Extract which is high in ellagic acid which helps to regulate cell turnover and strengthen the cell membrane therefore limiting water loss and free radical damage.

Daily Renew Facial Cream
£14.00 for 30ml/£28.00 for 60ml
I feel that this is definitely more of a night cream for me. Heavier in texture than the usual day creams I opt for (I prefer lightweight watery creams or gels). It contains Argan Oil which is a source of Vitamin E and fatty acids to repair damaged skin and prevent further damage whilst improving elasticity to skin. The cream also includes Hyaluronic Acid.

Let it Glow Cracker

Inside this cracker was Radiant Glow Mask (30ml) and some Lip Shine (15ml).

Radiant Glow Mask
£12.00 for 30ml/£24.00 for 60ml
I think this is one of the star products for me so far. The Radiant Glow Mask is a chocolate lover's dream! Raw cacao powder and clay revitalise and purify; coconut granules for a super mild exfoliation and natural sugar extracts that turn the exfoliating mask milky and soft on contact with water to make it easy to remove. Fragranced with organic vanilla oil, this mask smells good enough to eat. And yes, I did have a sneaky lick and can confirm that it does taste as sweet as it smells - although obvs I wouldn't recommend actually eating any!

Lip Shine
This was a limited edition Christmas special and is no longer available online.
It's a fabulous lip balm with a festive golden sparkly glow. Rich in Cacao Butter, Rose Flower Oil, Vanilla and gold sparkles. Can also be used as a highlighter on cheeks and collarbone.

Evolve Beauty are definitely one of my most exciting brand discoveries of last year and I've already purchased their new True Balance Lotion (review to follow) when it was released recently.
As an online shopping experience, I'd say it was perhaps the best I've encountered. Easy to navigate web site; a huge selection of skin, body and hair care products, options to choose different sizes of products and very generously - free shipping plus three samples with every order. Their samples are the best too - just £1.00 each (or three free with any purchase). It means that you can very happily try pretty much the entire range before you commit to buying a full size.
