I'm still on the 'Beauty Novice' Box of three items, but as you may have noticed, there are 8 items in my box - let me explain!
I picked three items this month - the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (20g), An Annabelle Minerals Blush in 'Rose', and a Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Ceam (15ml). The Alaia perfume sample was an extra freebie.
 
A few days later, the Ingenious Beauty showed up as the 'Product of the Day' and I really, really wanted to try these Collagen supplements, so I made another one-off order (still just £9.00 inclusive of P+P) - I added another Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (as this is still one of my most favourite cleansing balms ever) plus another shade of the Annabelle Minerals blusher - this time 'Sunset'. And again, the Alaia perfume was a freebie.

I've seen Annabelle Minerals pop up a few times on Instagram so when Latest in Beauty dropped three of their blusher shades on the same day I knew I had to try one - or more! Annabelle Minerals are a cruelty free Polish brand whose products are 100% Minerals - they use just four ingredients - Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxides (a natural UVA/UVB SPF) and Iron Oxides.
'Sunrise' is a lovely peach shade which suits people with warm olive complexions (which I don't have - but it still suits me!!).

Rose is a beautifully delicate pink shade, which suits people with a porcelain complexion (which I don't have either, but it still suits me!!).
The little blush pots are brilliant. They have a sifter inner lid, which, if you turn it, will also 'lock' and close off the sifter so your powder blush doesn't escape after use.
These are beautiful blushers - very subtle and natural but can be built up for a more intense pigment.

Ingenious Beauty - Ultimate Collagen +
I've been seeing these collagen supplements all over the internet and my interest was piqued. Added to that, this travel bag of 45 capsules retails at £23.99, so this was a great chance to try them out.
Ingenious Beauty make some huge claims about this product. Apparently, taking 1-3 of these capsules at night before bed (on an empty stomach) is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in just 20 days; guaranteed stronger nails; guaranteed thicker & shiny hair as well as guaranteed glowing & firmer skin.
I'm looking forward to reporting back with guaranteed fewer lines and wrinkles, stronger nails and shinier hair in 20 days!!

Alternatives to The Ordinary Products - Niacinamide

If you're an Instagram user then it will have been nigh on impossible for you not to have noticed all the drama surrounding Deciem CEO Brandon Truaxe's bizarre Instagram posts. It all seemed to kick off quite quickly ( I won't go into it too much here) with him posting, at first, passive posts where everything was 'peaceful and loving' and quickly degenerated into pretty hateful comments directed at other users who questioned his behaviour.
