20/20 Vision Project - Update November

The 20/20 Vision Project is a mega panning project which ends on 31st December 2019. The idea is to finish twenty makeup items and twenty skincare items.

 

I'm slightly ambivalent about panning projects - I absolutely love the essential idea of using what you have in your stash and being more responsible about what you buy. BUT! I have a tendency to rapidly go off products that I feel forced to use and so sometimes these projects, albeit necessary, can feel like more of a chore than a joy!

 

I started this product back in mid July of this year - so this update represents almost four months of use.

 

Let's start with the makeup choices. Three finished off - 17 to go!

 

1. MUA - Matte Perfect Loose Powder - used regularly.

2. TonyMoly - Cats Wink Powder Compact - Used regularly - not hit pan yet.

3. Nars - Copacabana Highlighter Cream Stick - Hardly used. 1st measurement was 22mm - current measurement is still at 22mm.

4. L'Oreal - Lash Paradise Mascara - I used this a lot but it was an early de-clutter due to an eye infection. So a bit of a cheat - but FINISHED!

5. Makeup Revolution - Brow Definer  - Used almost every day. Starting point measurement was 26mm remaining. Current measurement is 20mm remaining.

6. ByTerry - Ombre Blackstar Cream Eyeshadow - Not used too often. Starting point measurement was 25mm remaining. Current measurement is still at 25mm.

7. Buxom - Dolly Lip Plumper - Used sometimes.

8. Missha - Under Eye Concealer - Used every day until FINISHED!

9. Bagsy - Wow Lips - Used quite regularly. Starting point measurement was 15mm remaining. Current measurement is 10mm remaining.

10. Missha BB Cream - used occasionally. Feels a lot emptier.

11. L'Oreal - True Match Foundation - Used occasionally.
12. Holika Holika - Gudetama Cushion Foundation - Used occasionally.
13. E.L.F - Lip tint in peach - used occasionally.
14. Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Bae - used rarely.
15. Inglot - Cream blush - Starting measurement point was 25mm remaining. Current measurement is 20mm remaining.
16. Benefit - Roller Lash - Used very often until FINISHED!
17. Ciate - Wonderwand Mascara - Rarely used.
18. E.L.F Highlighter - Used occasionally. No pan yet.
19. Illamasqua - Gel Sculpt Contour - Used every day. Starting point measurement was 8mm remaining. Current measurement is 3mm remaining.
20. Nars - Orgasm Blusher (Travel Size) - Used occasionally. No pan yet.

 

As I thought, I'd do better finishing off the skincare products - although there are a few I hardly touch. Five down - fifteen to go!

 

1. Superdrug - B Micellar Water - Used every day - good progress made.

2. CosRx - Low PH Morning Cleanser - Used sometimes.

3. The Body Shop - Drops of Light Peel - Only used once a week so very little product used.

4. Ziaja - Olive Cleansing Milk - Starting to use a lot more regularly, but it still feels like there's a lot of product left.

5. Dr Botanicals - Duo Moisturiser - Only used once. Will use this up after swimming when the Garnier Rosewater day cream is finished.

6. Milk Makeup - Urban Defence Mask - Not used very often.

7. Superdrug - Naturally Radiant Glycolic Pads - FINISHED!

8. Garnier - Intensive 7 Days Lotion - Used frequently after swimming.

9. Sally Hansen - Diamond Strength Nail Hardener - Used often.

10. Espa - Hydrating Floral Spa Fresh - FINISHED!

11. Vee Beauty LDN - Lash & Brow Oil - unfortunately, this had to be another early de-clutter due to an eye infection. FINISHED!

12. Pixi - Primer - Hardly used.

13. Ultrasun - 30 SPF for Face - Used till FINISHED!

14. The Ordinary - EUK 134 - Only used once.

15. The Ordinary - Alpha Lipoic Acid - Used once a week.

16. The Ordinary - Resveratrol + Ferulic Acid - Used a couple of times each week.

17. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution - Used regularly.

18. The Hero Project - Vit C-30 Serum - FINISHED!

19. Garnier - Rosewater Day Cream - Used 2 to 3 times a week after swimming.

20. Nuxe - Reve de Miel Lip Balm - Used regularly.
