Weekly Makeup Bag #31

I'm getting quite used to wearing very little makeup on these hot summer days and quite enjoying it too (although it's not particularly helping with getting any panning done!).

* Vita Liberata Self-Tanning Anti Age Serum
I was sent a bunch of Vita Liberata tanning products last week to test and review and this anti age serum works on the same principle as the Isle of Paradise self-tanning drops. Just add 2-3 drops in with your day moisturiser to achieve a natural looking tan. So far I've used this just a couple of times and in comparison to the Isle of Paradise drops, I would say that the Isle of Paradise has the edge. These seems slightly oilier and I can't say that I've really noticed anything more than a touch of very subtle colour on my face. This isn't actually a bad thing for me as I don't want any more than that but compared with the Vita Liberata products for body (which are pretty intense!) these are very, very subtle. Saying that, you can apply the drops directly to your face for a more intense colour - but I'm a bit worried to do that!

* Under Eye Concealer - Maybelline Anti Age Eraser
I know a lot of people have issues with their applicators on this under eye concealer but so far, mine has been okay. It wasn't even particularly dry after not having used this for months. I apply the E.L.F Under Eye Primer (not pictured) first - this has become my holy grail product recently - and this takes away any settling into fine lines.

* Contour - Illamasqua Gel Sculpt Contour (not pictured)
I haven't been using this much, but it's at hand should I want to. I'm loving this cooling gel stick and it's so easy to blend.

* Blushers - Kiko Milano Metal Fusion Blush and Pixi by Petra Sheer Cheek Gel

* Nail Polish - Barry M Coconut Infusion Gel Nail Paint
Love this summery coral colour but this hasn't got the best formula. It's very thick but is also quite streaky. You definitely need two coats, but any more than that and it looks and feels too thick and gloopy and uneven.

* Mascara - Maybelline Total Temptation

* Eye Shadow Palette
A brand new palette for me this week. After seeing swatch comparisons with the Makeup Revolution - Reloaded Velvet Rose and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette, I couldn't believe how similar they were! This palette cost just £4 - and after having a little play with it, it's up to the usual standard of Makeup Revolution palettes.

Lipstick Choices
It feels a bit strange hardly wearing any makeup but wearing a lipstick every day (which so far I've managed to do for the past couple of weeks). Looking at my lipstick collection and I can see that I obviously tend to buy most lipsticks in Autumn and Winter, going on the shades I have! So I've been pulling out any nudes or light summery colours that won't look too stark against an un-made face.

* Bagsy Wow Lips (not pictured) - as this is part of my 20/20 Vision Project it's going to be a permanent fixture in my weekly makeup bag till I finish it off.
* Primark P.S Lustre Lipstick in 'Desert Sand'
* L'Oreal - Color Riche in 'Beige a Nu'
* Etude House - Dear Darling Tint
* Primark P.S Velvet Matte Lipstick Crayon
* Gosh 'Sweetheart'
Bare Minerals 'Juu'
