Project Use It Up - August

 

I only finished 3 out of 6 products from last month's Use It Up project, so I'm determined to do better this month.

I'll hold my hand up to it - I may have slightly tipped the balance in my favour this month so that the outcome is more successful!

 

 

* Decleor Micellar Oil

I didn't finish this last month so it remains in this month's project.

 

* Rosewater

I initially bought this rather basic Rosewater to use as a spray mist and also to mix with powder clay masks. However, recently I've been enjoying using it as a morning cleanser. Floral waters have a pretty restricted shelf-life so I need to use this up soon before it expires. I also have some of this decanted into an old Pyunkang Yul mist bottle (as I really loved the fine spray on that bottle) so there's a bit more to use up than what is shown.

 

* Espa Floral Fresh Toner

This was my least favourite item from the Espa Optimal Skin Experience set. Luckily, it's only a small spray bottle, so it shouldn't be too hard to use up.

 

* Trifle - Sugar Pear Lip Exfoliator

So here's where I cheated a bit! I swapped this for the Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm, because this is smaller and will be quicker to use up and I like being successful in my projects so I will change the rules as and when I see fit!!

 

* Niod - Mastic Must

When I started choosing the products for this project there were none that I really disliked (I would have rather de-cluttered them than suffered) and this Mastic Must mask was no exception - I just wasn't reaching for it so often.

But after choosing this last month and not having been able to finish it has made me really feel quite discouraged when even looking at the packaging! At the moment, using up this mask feels like the cosmetic equivalent of chewing a serving of cardboard! I absolutely can't face another bite! There's probably 3 or 4 more uses in the tube - I couldn't bear to fit in any more face-fulls towards the end of last month but I swear I'll finish it this month come hell or high water.

 

*Samples

I count these sachet size samples in my skincare inventory and it's the multitude of moisturiser samples that's making my moisturiser stash seem so daunting. So, if I can use up some of these, I can start on the unopened full sizes.

 

 

Just 12 samples - I should be able to do it!
