Weekly Makeup Bag # 26

Yay! Made it a whole six months with this weekly makeup bag project!
So it's only fitting that I celebrate with a gorgeous brand new palette!
I was planning to use my eye shadow singles for this week, but this beautiful summer palette from Urban Decay kind of supersedes EVERYTHING!

Another new introduction this week is the Isle of Paradise Light Tanning Drops. I chose light because I'm always nervous of it all going wrong (particularly on the face). But these are just right for me and give me a daily just-sun-kissed glow. In fact, they're working so well that I've not really even reached for any foundation this week. So it's another light week makeup-wise.


No highlighter, no contouring - so far it's just been a touch of powder, blush, eye shadow and mascara!

Absolutely delighted with this purchase! There's no doubt that your face always looks better with a bit of colour. But since I wear a sunscreen with an SPF of 50 everyday, I don't catch as much as tan on my face. These drops, in the light tan, effortlessly give you a barely-there, natural sun-kissed glow.

* It Cosmetics - Your Skin But Better CC Cream (50 spf)
Added this to the bag but haven't worn it so far this week.

* Under-eye Brightener - TonyMoly Pandas Dream Eye Brightener /Missha Under-eye Brightener (not pictured)
I've been using the TonyMoly without makeup just to brighten up the dark circles under my eyes and have kept the Missha in for if I decide to wear foundation this week.

* MUA - Matte Perfect Loose Powder
Not my favourite face powder but to give it credit - it's great just to take the edge off the shine on a no-foundation day.

* Blusher - Benefit Gold Rush and Kiko Milano Metal Fusion Blush
The Benefit Gold Rush is the perfect summer blush. I bought this Kiko Milano Metal Fusion blush in the sale last week. It's not too 'out there' for me and is perfect this week, since I haven't chosen a highlighter, just to give a pop of shine.

* Mascara - Benefit Roller Lash

* Eye Shadow Palette - Urban Decay Beached
My latest palette crush! This is the perfect summer palette! Let's just remind ourselves of it's magnificence.

If you're an Instagram user then it will have been nigh on impossible for you not to have noticed all the drama surrounding Deciem CEO Brandon Truaxe's bizarre Instagram posts. It all seemed to kick off quite quickly ( I won't go into it too much here) with him posting, at first, passive posts where everything was 'peaceful and loving' and quickly degenerated into pretty hateful comments directed at other users who questioned his behaviour. He even started to highlight certain comments he'd made on his Instagram stories, where he seemed quite pleased with his snarky, and sometimes downright abusive replies to certain comments.
