Project Use It Up - July

Here's the line-up for July!

 

 

* Decleor - Micellar Oil



I haven't chosen this because I'm desperate to get rid of it, but more for practical reasons. I keep my opened products that aren't currently in my skincare routine rotation in a drawer, and I'm worried that now I've opened this, it will leak oil everywhere - so best to use it up! The texture of this is pretty much exactly as it sounds - a runnier, lighter oil cleanser. I do use it to take my eye make up off but it doesn't remove every trace of mascara and can make my eyes swimmy. So it's not on the top of my list of oil cleansers.

 

* Garnier - Skin Active Soothing Botanical Cleansing Milk with Rosewater

 I bought this along with a couple of the other products in the rosewater range. It's a pretty runny milky lotion. You can remove it with cotton wool pads, but that never feels like it's all been removed, so I always use a flannel. Is suitable for removing eye makeup, but not 100% effective.

 

* Cosrx - Advanced 96 Snail Mucin Essence

There's not much left, but I've found this difficult to place in a routine as it doesn't always sit well with certain other layers. So this is the third month running that this has been in the project. I'm absolutely determined to finish it this month though.

 

* Scinic - All in One Aqua Ampoule

Again, this hasn't been chosen because I'm eager to use it up but because it expires at the end of this month. This was a massive 250ml pot of product which seems to last forever. I've decanted the remains into a pump bottle and wish I'd done this sooner as it's so much easier to apply from a pump than direct from the jar. It won't be hard to use it up - it's so versatile and mixes beautifully with other products. I've reviewed it here.

 

* Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm

Expect to be seeing this in the next few months of this product. Very slow to get through.

 

* Niod - Mastic Must

The smell of mastic is, I'm sure, going to have a very polarising effect on people. I was taken aback when I first smelled this very nutty scent, but it didn't completely put me off. It may have had something to do with not reaching for this mask too frequently though. It's an okay mask - but not one of those instant-result wonders for me.

 

I'm taking bets now for how many of these I manage to finish up this month!
