January Sale Mini Haul

Although I started the year with a low-buy in mind, it didn't stop me perusing all the skincare and makeup sales at the end of last year!

I think most of these are good buys - but there were some impulse buys that I'm slightly regretting!

Gucci Bloom 50ml Gift Set
Original Price: £72 Sale Price: £47.99

I had already decided that I was going to buy a full size of this perfume. 30ml costs £52 so I was very happy to see this 50ml Gift set in Boots for just £47.99.

VeeBeautyLDN: Lash and Brow Oil and Nail and Cuticle Oil
Original Price:£16.90  Sale Price: £14

I saw this brand on Instagram and really wanted to try her lash oil (not so worried about making my already-bushy eyebrows grow anymore) but when I saw this bundle, I wanted to try her nail oil too.

e.l.f Sale/Body Shop Sale/Tiger

The e.l.f sales are always pretty good, but those cheap, cheap prices certainly make for some rash buys! The two eye shadow palettes were just £4.00 each, and although they're pretty similar, they do make great everyday wear looks and are small enough for travel. I also bought yet another highlighter and a brush (which I think was just 80p!).
In the Body Shop it was 40% off and I like to stock up in the sales as I usually wouldn't spend the full price on body washes, etc. I also picked up a facial massage roller (after my Jade roller broke) and a blackhead removing tool. The Tiger items weren't n sale but they are so cheap anyway - some cuticle clippers and a cuticle stick - ready for my new years - new nails assault!

Kiko Milano
A Kiko shop recently opened up in my closest city so I had been eyeing some of these products in store. I thought that at full price, they were a little too expensive for a High Street brand so when they appeared in the sale, I had to give them a go. I think the Arctic Holiday holographic lip balm was still a little overpriced even at the sale price. The 'Into the Dark' highlighter compact is really pretty and looks great on too. Also, the 'Into the Dark' deep red nail varnish has turned out to be one of my favourite nail varnishes (although the orange varnish is a bit too bright in real life). The Isa Arfen range of duo holographic eye shadows swatched really nicely in store, but again (when will I learn?!) look different on the lid. The absolute best buy though (and I will definitely be purchasing more of these - even at full price) is the water eye shadow. I bought a bold gold shade and it's absolutely bloody fantastic. I've been using it mostly as a halo shadow but also have dabbed a bit over lipstick which kicks up your lip colour a bit.
