This was a surprise contender in the race! I saw that Clinique were offering free ten day trials of this foundation and went in to get a colour match and free sample.

I was matched to shade 03 - Ivory, and I feel that this has been the best first-time colour match I've received. The shade was just right.

 

This foundation has an SPF of 15. It's been developed to help with hyper-pigmentation and even skin-tone - with immediate results and over time.

 

Suitable for dry combination to oily combination skin types. It promises moderate to full coverage.

 

The foundation has quite a runny consistency, and while it's not been the most enjoyable consistency of the foundations I've been testing, it applies and blends really well. That's not to say I don't like the consistency, but I preferred the Dior Forever Mousse velvety texture over this.

 

The first thing I noticed was that it did give my skin and instant radiance and glow that was on the right side of illumination - looking healthy rather than shiny!

 

I would say that this foundation leans more towards moderate than full coverage and for that reason, it didn't entirely even out my skin tone but it does give it a really good natural healthy skin look.

 

I didn't need any powder over the top and more promising, it didn't sink into my pores or clump on any dry patches of skin. It feels very light to wear and lasts for as long as I'm wearing it.

 

I did notice that my skin got slightly oily towards the end of the day, but this is what my skin does - rather than the foundation causing it to become oilier.

 

All in all, a really exciting and promising test - this has whizzed past all the other foundations that I've been trying and is coming up as the winner so far (with the Estee Lauder possibly demanding a Steward's inquiry!).
