Thoughts

I wrote about my first impressions about Capri a little while after I first received it.
Sometimes your first impressions can be awful but then you can be proved wrong after prolonged use showing that a product takes time to 'grow on you' and for results to show. And sometimes favourable first impressions are only magnified as time passes.
This is certainly the case with Capri Body Oil.
Any first impression is mostly going to be formed by sensory perception - the scent and feel of a product. It may not be the best way to judge a product, but for me personally, one of the most important factors in my decision to purchase (and to keep re-purchasing) a product is how highly it rates on the 'Joy Scale'. How much happiness, sensory satisfaction and feelings of well-being does this product bring to me?
Capri Body Oil is most definitely a 10/10 on the Joy Scale!

When applied on damp skin after a bath or shower, Capri has the most luxuriant silky slip. It also absorbs quickly without leaving a slick on the skin, so if you are using this after a bath or shower then you don't have to wait to get dressed.
I have also used this on dry skin, where again, the absorption time is really speedy However, I do prefer applying to damp skin for a better slip and a more enjoyable massage.

It's mentioned on the Lime & Lilac website that Capri won't 'fight with existing fragrances', but you know what? I wouldn't mind if it did! The signature Lime & Lilac scent of Neroli, Frankincense and Lavender is perhaps my most favourite scent captured in a product and I would happily wear it alone as a fragrance. It's such a harmonious blend and makes me feel relaxed, content, happy and mentally grounded every time I use it.

I usually view body oils as a superior way of softening and nourishing my skin but what I hadn't bargained for with the Capri Body Oil is that it surprised me by actively soothing and healing some quite dramatic PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) on my legs caused by cuts and insect bites!

My legs were an absolute wreck over the summer and I was feeling like I didn't want to bare my skin due to the amount of angry dark red scars that I had peppered all over my legs. However, I noticed that continued use of Capri was hugely instrumental in fading those scars much quicker than normal. These healing powers were definitely an unexpected and pleasant bonus

This is definitely my favourite body oil that I've ever tried but I need to stop thinking of it as an indulgent treat that I need to save for best! Why shouldn't I have a luxurious, spa-like treatment every single day?!
