Late to the Party

Well if this doesn't go down as the most bizarre month in the history of our lifetime! Life as we know it has changed completely, but, in fear of sounding too trite, my skincare routines have gone on! It's been a comfort to hold on to the familiar of my skincare routines. I haven't felt much like blogging this month - not when the world seems so precarious at the moment. But for my own peace of mind, and hopefully, something that still may hold a bit of interest, here is a run-down of my March 2020 empties. Mila's Apothecary - Hedgerow Nectar This was the latest product that I picked up from the fabulous Mila's Apothecary, after falling hard for the Winter Gift Set that I received for Christmas. The Hedgerow Nectar is a face and body oil blended with cold-pressed strawberry seed oil and hemp seed oil. The hero ingredient of strawberry seed oil is actually a by product from jam-making which would otherwise go to waste. Ingredients Cold-pressed Fragaria Ananassa (strawberry) Seed Oil; Organic and cold-pressed Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Seed Oil; Organic and cold-pressed Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil;  Organic Pelargonium Graveolens (Rose Geranium) Oil; Linalool; Geraniol, Citronellol, Limonene - naturally occurring. And although I like to try and keep my routines consistent, I do have quite a lot of products in this category so I like to have a few on the go each month. This month's choices are a mixture of favourites, a new seasonal product I've just received and some that have been open for a while and need using up! Bybi Custom Skincare Bundle Recently when Latest in Beauty offered a discount for Bybi, it didn't take me long to pick a few items as Bybi is a brand that I've been curious about for a while now. It was hard to pick just one, so I took advantage of the Bybi Custom Skincare bundle to get a good feel for the brand. Skincare * Ariul - 7 Days Vitamin Mist ( MR ) I picked this up in T.K Maxx, mainly excited by all the fruit and veggie extracts in this mist. Did I feel that they did anything for my skin? No, not really. But it was a nice daily mist, with a fine spray and I'd buy it again for that reason if I ever saw it on sale again. *  Cocorosa Beauty - Egyptian Neroli Cleansing Oil ( WR ) I fell in love with this after trying a sample i a Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box - rushing out to buy the full size as soon as I finished the sample.
