Weekly Makeup Bag #30

Last week was so bloody hot that I really didn't want to wear much makeup and quite frankly, when I did, it looked very over the top!
So this week, even though the weather is set to be a bit cooler, I'm sticking to the Erborian CC Cream as the only base I'll be wearing (if at all) and some under eye concealer.

 
* Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Drops
I've been adding these to my moisturiser just once or twice a week.
* Under-eyes - Model Co Instant Radiance Under Eye Concealer (not pictured) - wasn't sure how keen I was about this last week - the colour is slightly orange-y but when used with the E.L.F Under Eye Primer it actually worked really well.
* Face - Erborian CC Crème
* Contour - Illamasqua Gel Sculpt Contour (not pictured)
* Blusher - Nars Orgasm
* Mascara - Ciate Wonderwand
I'm loving this mini mascara and would consider buying a full size in the future.

Lipstick Choices

 
It was quite a challenge to wear a lipstick every day last week but I managed it! This week I've chosen lip shades that will go with the Urban Decay Naked Heat colours.

Last Week's De-clutters
 
 
I chose both of these lip tints for last week's lipstick choices to see which one I wanted to keep and ended up getting rid of both of them. They just make me look like the inside of my lips are stained - not a great look. Still, at least it takes the lipstick hoard down by two!

  For the past few weeks I haven't been washing my face in the morning! I'm a great fan of the double-cleanse method, but then I read somewhere about not needing to double-cleanse in the morning if you double-cleanse at night. It was advised that you start your morning routine with the toner step, skipping out oil cleansers and foaming washes (or whatever double-cleansing products you use) altogether. Now it's not like I'd jump off a cliff if the internet told me to, but this made a bit of sense to me - why add more potentially drying/stripping/exfoliating products when there was no make-up to remove?   And this has worked out brilliantly well for me personally.   Flower Beauty ~ Light Illusion Foundation £12.99 at Superdrug BUY HERE   I'd never heard of Flower Beauty before, let alone that it was a cruelty-free makeup range by Drew Barrymore. And I'll be honest, I bought it because I liked the look and sound of it! It took a while to get my hands on some too. TonyMoly  ~The Fresh Phytoncide Pore Gel Cream   I'm coming to the end of this pot of pore gel cream which I have been using everyday, both morning and evening since I opened it nearly two months ago. But typically, there seems to be very little information about this online and it doesn't seem to be readily stocked and easy to buy!   I picked this up from T.K Maxx, which could explain why it doesn't seem like a popular product online (and I mean popular in readily available) as it was possibly an end of line product, hence the reason why it ended up in T.K Maxx.   The product   The Fresh Phytoncide pore cream gel is a lightweight gel cream in the same vein as the water/aqua gels. It contains 100% pure Hinoki Cypress Water instead of distilled water. The cream is suited for oily/combination skin and acne troubled skin and enlarged pores.   Ingredients The writing on the pot is all in Korean but I found a list of ingredients on the CosDNA site.
