Weekly Makeup Bag #23

Not much to see here, so feel free to move swiftly along!
Usually, after a week of using the same products after a week, I'm champing at the bit to choose the next week's makeup selection. But this week I've kept several main items in the bag from last week as they worked really well for me.
I was travelling quite a bit last week and didn't take the large Lorac Mega Pro 3 palette with me so I feel like I'm not done with that yet. It really is the most versatile palette I own.

* Primer - Pixi by Petra - Flawless & Poreless Primer - I hardly used this last week so I'm keeping it in to give it another try.
* Foundation - L'Oreal - True Match -  This worked so well for me last week that I didn't want to mess with the formula! I did notice some cakiness around my nose but this does coincide with the introduction of a new retinol serum, which could possibly be causing a little bit of dryness/flakiness.
* Undereye Concealer - Inglot - would you believe, this still isn't finished!!
* Powder - TonyMoly Cat's Wink
* Blusher - Nars Orgasm
* Highlighter - Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink - On first impression, I'm not sure how I feel about this. I read reviews that it gave you a nice, reasonably subtle, healthy glow but I'm findng it quite blinding at times! Must work out how best to utilise it this week.
* Eyeshadow Palette - Lorac Mega Pro 3 - I've seen people choose one palette and stick to it for a whole month and wondered how they could do that without getting bored. It's not something I'd want to commit to (one month- one palette) but if I did, this is the only palette I own that I think would be suitable for using exclusively for a whole month. I've become more aware of a bit of fall-out from some of the pans but other than that, I can't fault it for it's shade selection or pigmentation.
*Mascara - Laura Geller - Lash Boss - Thoughts on this below.
* Lips - Buxom  - Full On Lip Polish in 'Dolly' (mini) and Bagsy Wow Lips in 'Ready to Wear'. These have both stayed in my bag for a few weeks now as I want to use them up. With the Bagsy, it's not a case of wanting to get rid of it - I really like this lipstick - but more the case that I can actually see myself finishing this up. I don't think I've ever fully finished a single lipstick so I'm up for the challenge!

Laura Geller Lash Boss Mascara
I ended up de-cluttering last week's choice of mascara, which was a mini of the Pur - Fully Charged mascara. It was really bad at transferring to my eyelids making them look a horrible smudgy mess.
So I swapped in another mini which came in a beauty box - the Laura Geller Lash Boss. It's not one of my immediate favourites but I do like the way it lengthens and defines my lashes without being clumpy. However, with this mascara too, there seem to be some transference issues, which is why I wouldn't reconsider this as a re-purchase.
I do like the wand though. If you can make it out in the photo above, one side is quite spiky and on the other is a row of much shorter brushes. It's an extremely flexible wand too - sometimes a bit too flexible!
